SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Remove all dust, loose particles, grease and traces of foreign materials.
  • Recommended to dampen the dry concrete / plastered surfaces when necessary before the application of V-Mix Base Coat


Polymer Modified Cement-Based Base Coat

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION


V-MIX Base Coat is a high quality polymer modified  water resistant cement-based base coat for walls and ceilings. V-MIX Base Coat suitable for direct application onto concrete and plastered surfaces for  patching and surface leveling works.  Recommended for internal   usage.

 



MIXING

  • Mix 40kg bag of V-Mix Base Coat with 11 to 12 Litres of clean water using an electrical power mixer 3 to 5 minutes until the homogeneous paste is achieved.
  • Re-mix the paste before reuse if material left unused more than 30 minutes.

APPLICATION

  • Apply V-MIX Base Coat with a steel trowel to an average thickness of 2 to 4mm.
  • If surfaces require more layers to achieve build-up thickness , the underneath layers must let dry partially before apply subsequent layers.
